STOP FLOOR SLIPPAGE THE ANTI-SLIP (ASF 128) PROCESS ANTI-SLIP (ASF 128) use a micro-etching process which reacts with silica, forming microscopic grooves and indents in the floor surface, creating traction when a person's feet or their footwear are wet or come into contact with a wet floor. As silica is a common element in practically every inorganic floor surface, the use of the product has wide applications. ANTI-SLIP (ASF 128) is a three stage process, requiring only a few hours for the treatment. 1. The surface is thoroughly cleaned using ASD 138, a highly active biodegradable detergent - combined with mechanical scrubbing. 2. The ANTI-SLIP (ASF 128) compound is applied to the surface as a do-it-yourself product or by our trained technicians. The degree of treatment required by the customer controls the length of time the compound remains in place. 3. The product is then completely removed and the surface is immediately ready for traffic. ANTI-SLIP (ASF 128) in most cases will be effective for two to five years depending upon the type of floor, the degree of initial treatment required by the client and the volume of traffic.
